THE WHY is an interactive discussion group that explores the fundamental question: "Why do people act that way?" Through guided analysis of social media posts, news articles, YouTube videos, and public comments, participants investigate the psychological, social, and environmental factors that drive human behavior in contemporary society.
The program employs a Humanistic psychology framework, emphasizing individual potential, personal growth, free will, and self-actualization. Participants engage in meaningful self-exploration to understand their own placement within the societal matrix while developing empathy for diverse perspectives.
What Participants Will Do

Review and analyze social media content, news articles, and video materials presenting topical societal issues

Examine public comments and reactions to understand diverse viewpoints

Participate in facilitated small group discussions

Reflect on personal beliefs and societal positions

Explore the intersection of identity, belonging, values, and competition in shaping behavior
Participants will:

Develop deeper understanding of human behavioral motivations
